Plant a Tree
Minimizing erosion and to reduce the likelihood of landslide. A total of 300 seedlings (Agoho Tree) were being planted at the various area outside Mining MPSA area of Barangay Boa, Cagdianao Dinagat Islands.

Emergency Response
Our SBT Emergency Response team assisted local government units in clearing operations, debris removal, and other emergency response efforts in the landslide area at Brgy. Boa, Cagdianao. Despite the holiday season, our team worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of the affected communities in the area. This is a testament to our commitment to serving and protecting our communities in times of need.
Tree Planting Activity
SBT Mining Inc. conducts tree planting activity in preparation for the upcoming mining operation and as an obligation to not only preserve but also protect and enhance the physical and ecological environment but also to the quality of life of the communities surrounding the project.
WHY ARE TREE-PLANTING ACTIVITY IMPORTANT?
Tree planting in mining sites can be an important part of reclamation and restoration efforts. Trees can help to reduce air pollution, provide shade and habitat for wildlife, and help to stabilize soils. Planting trees in mining sites can also help to reduce the amount of runoff and sedimentation that can result from mining operations. Trees can be planted in areas that have been disturbed by mining or in areas that have been mined and reclaimed. It is important to select species of trees that are suitable for the local environment and that can survive in the conditions found in the mining site. Planting trees in mining sites can help to restore the landscape and provide environmental benefits.
